Narcoleptic baby?

I heard that babies tend to be a bit narcoleptic. They can fall asleep anywhere. Levi is no exception. He was sitting on my lap this morning and just nestled in my arm and fell asleep.

A pickin' and a grinnin'

Today we went to a show with Ed & Miss Lynn.  It was a group of youth - all under the age of 18 - playing banjos, ukeleles, mandolins, fiddles, upright bass, guitars....you get the idea.  Of course, I love that kind of show - and was very excited to take Levi.  HE LOVED IT!!! He danced through the entire first set.  He literally stood on my lap watching the show and bounced his knees to the rhythm.  He was laughing and smiling the whole time.  Levi really does love music.  Today I learned that it's true - he loves all kinds of music.
He wore himself out so much that he slept through most of the second set.  The show was 2 hours long, so I'm sure he was tired. 

The kids did a great job.  I was really impressed with the show.  They played a wide variety of music and Levi loved every single genre.  Thank you to Sagemont Church, the band, and the guy who volunteers his time to teach all of these talented young people, Buddy Griffin.

Well, our photo session with Brandi didn't produce quite the photos we were expecting.  The "sneak peek" pics were possibly the best of the batch.  The proofs left a lot to be desired....and we struggled to pick 10 of them to keep for the baby books.  Luckily, Levi is so incredibly cute that even her terrible photography couldn't over-shadow what a beautiful baby he is. 
I won't even go into how disgusted I was with her so-called "customer service".  Let's just say she won't be seeing any more of us.  I'm grateful for the few cute pics that we do have, and we are happy to share them with you.

My first Easter

After sleeping through the night, we had a little Easter basket time (to include essentials such as sunglasses, sunblock shirt, and teething rings) and then we went to church. After church, cousins Mark, Jennifer, and Delaney came over for some quality Levi time. Then our friend Mark came over as well as the neighbors Miss Lynn and Ed. We grilled some BBQ, and enjoyed some brisket and tons of sides. Levi loved visiting with everyone, as usual. Such the social butterfly.

Social Butterfly

Last weekend, Levi went to his first crawfish boil. He spent the day socializing with everyone at the event. Everyone loved seeing him and spending time with him. He likes to smile big for everyone he meets.
And....Since we were at the hangar, he even took the opportunity to get a photo op in a private jet. He liked that there was a place for him to put his bottle while he sat down for a minute.

Paging Dr Farmer

Levi had his 2 month check up today. He is very healthy and even "advanced" in his motor skills! His "army crawl" helped him earn that "advanced" status. He weighed in at 11 lbs, 12 oz.
This morning he had a nice long giggle session. He is almost to audible laughter. His laugh is a squeak
He didn't care much for his shots. He was asleep when he got them. Naturally, that didn't last. He was more shocked than hurt I think. He calmed down fairly quickly. As much as can be expected.
