Levi had a fantastic first Christmas. He celebrated with us all month long. First, we went to a December birthday party for his Great Grandma Cox and Aunt Stacy. Levi had fun playing with his cousins Tyler and Henry and visiting with all family members that were there. We saw Great Grandma Cox and Aunt Stacy of course, along with Uncle Troy, Tyler, Henry, Aunt Susan, Uncle Ed, Aunt Kay, Uncle Bill, and a few others that skyped in to the party. Fun!
Then, we went to Kentucky and met a new cousin - Lily!! She is the daughter of my cousin Jessica and her hubby Shawn. I'm sorry, but I did not get any pictures (I can't believe it either...). It was a quick visit, but we did get to see Gramma Lucille, Nana Tootie, Uncle Papa Leo, Aunt HayHay and cousins Leah, Ian, and Lorelei, also. It was a nice visit, though short. :( When spending time with family, it never seems like enough.
Then, we had Christmas celebration with the DeVols. We went to Uncle Troy and Aunt Stacy's and had a little Christmas party. Levi got lots of gifts and even got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus!! Very exciting. Levi sat on his lap, checked him out for a minute, then burst into tears. It wasn't too long after that when he fell asleep.
On Christmas morning, Levi opened even more presents. He loved the paper and boxes, of course. Then, we went to Uncle Greg's house in Caldwell to visit many more family members (too many to list) and then on to Uncle Troy and Aunt Stacy's for dinner. More gifts. He certainly is loved!
New Year's Eve was not so exciting. We stayed in - and would have been in bed by 9:00pm, if Levi had been asleep by then. Instead, he fell asleep at 10:00, and so did we.
Levi's progress is coming along. He likes to practice walking between two people, and laughs like crazy while doing it. He still thinks it is a fun game, despite the fact that we practice every night. He does get around VERY quickly on his hands and knees or just his knees...so I can see why he'd rather crawl.
He is talking a lot. If only we knew what language he was speaking....the only things we can make out are Babababa, Mamamama, and today he added Dadadada.
Oh - he still LOVES music...and also likes to brush his teeth. He has about 8 of them by now.
