LEVI TURNS ONE!

WOW!  It's incredible that one year ago today (Thursday), Rob and I were wondering what we were going to do over the weekend.  I was supposed to be on call over the weekend, so I wanted to keep it low key and suggested renting a movie.  Rob was considering a dinner night out at Kemah or somewhere on the water.

We had no idea that a little miracle was meeting the world. We had no ideas our lives were changing as we toiled over dinner or a movie.

One year ago today little "Baby Q" was born.  We put our heads on our pillows one last night as a childless family.  Tomorrow, at 10am, I will think about that phone call I received from Kathy that changed our lives forever.

Today, however, I think about an amazingly happy little boy.  No longer a baby, our boy turned one today!  We had a super hero costume party complete with kryptonite punch, homemade capes, flying superheros, and even Baby-zilla crushing the cake!

The weather did not cooperate at all.  We thought the crime-fighting was going to be postponed, but some were able to traverse the treacherous terrain to celebrate the birthday of a special super hero.

Thank you to everyone who made, those who wish they could have made it, but were held off by the snowstorm, and to those far away that sent special gifts.

The photos speak for themselves, and I convinced the photographer to send me a teaser of them.  She took almost 1,500 photos!! Holy moley!  She said he was so easy to photograph because he sees a camera and smiles big every time.

Here are a few (unedited) photos that she shared with me.  When I get all of them, I will take some time to upload them to shutterfly and post the link.
